GF 677 root stock is a peach root stock which is often used for free-lime soils ( soils with high amounts of calcium carbonate in them).

It is vigorous, and tolerates up to 11% active calcium in the soil. It can withstand brackish and high pH soils, but is susceptible to root-knot nematode and wet soils. Reasonably drought tolerant.
